What to Pack for Your Aruba Vacation
Aruba sits outside the hurricane belt and is dry and windy nearly year-round, which changes what's actually worth packing.
Reef-safe sunscreen matters here more than most places. The trade winds mean you feel less hot than you are, and the sun is intense even on breezy, overcast-feeling days.
A light layer for the evening. The wind picks up after sunset and it's cooler than the daytime heat would suggest, especially if you're out on a patio or rooftop.
Water shoes if you plan to explore any of the rockier coves outside the main beaches, particularly around Arikok National Park.
Beyond that, most of our villas provide beach towels, a full kitchen, and basic essentials, so check your specific listing before over-packing.
