Snorkeling the reefs
Aruba's west coast is sheltered from the trade winds, which keeps the water calm and clear enough for snorkeling straight off the beach at several spots, no boat required.
For more to see, half-day boat trips run out to the Antilla shipwreck and a handful of reef sites further offshore, most departing from Palm Beach and stopping for a couple of swim breaks along the way.
Visibility is generally good year-round, and the water stays warm enough that a wetsuit is never really necessary.
Several of our villas keep beach gear on hand. Ask what is included when you enquire.
